Welcome to the Adult Learning Center

Located in the McConnell Community Center, the Dover Adult Learning Center of Strafford County helps adults enhance their life-coping skills and improve their lives through basic education, job training, high school completion and enrichment classes. We help our students become more effective lifelong learners, family members, workers and citizens.

Develop the skills you need anytime, anywhere with Online Classes
Our instructor-led courses are available anytime, anywhere. All you need is a web-enabled computer and a desire to learn skills that will prepare you for a new career or update current skill sets. And even though you don't have to attend class, you won't be on your own. A team of available online professionals, anytime scheduling, and educational textbooks combine to give you a relevant, interactive learning experience.

Graduation 2011
Students from the Adult High School and GED programs gathered in June with literally hundreds of friends and family members at Dover High School to celebrate their achievements.

Driver Education at DALC
The Dover Adult Learning Center administers the Dover School District Driver Education Program. The classes are taught at Dover High School by Pale Rider Driving School, LLC. Please contact them directly with any questions regarding classroom instruction, absences from class or course materials, at 225-0002.
