Invitation To Join
For more than 30 years, Dover Adult Learning Center
of Strafford County has provided educational opportunities to thousands
of teen-aged and adult learners. Our students and graduates have gone on
to higher education, fulfilling jobs, and enriched family and community
lives because of the programs DALCSC has offered.
Now, as in the past, we rely on financial support from individuals and
businesses to fund these programs. We depend on these contributions to
provide scholarships for students in need and to supply materials,
books, and equipment used in classes. The relationship between the
Center and residents of Strafford County has been an ongoing, day-to-day
partnership.
In 2002, in recognition of the Center’s 30th anniversary year, the Board
of Directors founded the Friends of the Center, a membership
organization dedicated to providing financial and other support to the
Center and our students. We invite you to join the Friends organization
at whatever level you wish:

$250+ Friend $ 40+
Your contribution will help students who might not otherwise have been
able to afford to take part in DALC's classes. You may designate your
contribution in honor, memory or celebration of an individual or event.
As a Friend of the Center, you will receive a quarterly newsletter that
profiles a student who has benefited from scholarship support. The
Friends newsletter will also highlight the Center’s activities and
provide updates on news and programs. You will be invited to the
Center's annual open house and graduation ceremonies. Most importantly,
you will have the satisfaction of knowing that you are giving teen-aged
and adult learners in Strafford County a unique chance to reach their
goals.
