Christopher is an Artist-Educator who is an avid practitioner, observer and learner of the visual and performing arts. Christopher started working for the Dover School District in 2001 and currently is a teacher in the Art Department at Dover High School. This course will explore our sense of identity, creativity and the language of visual culture through six basic creative arts modalities: visual arts, music, movement, drama, poetry and storytelling. SAM LITTLE
Sam has been teaching for several years in both public and private settings. He is currently an English teacher at Dover High School and was the winner of Dover High School’s “Teacher of the Year” award in 2008. He currently lives in Wakefield, NH and enjoys spending time outdoors, especially walking in the woods with his dog Huxley.

This course will cover the basics of composition and essay writing along with a study of literary terms and techniques. Students will read a variety of literature and view several films with the aim of responding to what they see and read in well organized essays. Reading and viewing selections will cover a range of authors and genres and students will be encouraged to develop their own opinions about the material covered.
