BEGINNING GUITAR

JOWN SOWDEN, M.A.
John has taught guitar in colleges and adult education programs for over 25 years. Prior to coming to DALC, he taught in adult education programs and colleges in upstate New York, North Carolina, and Georgia. When not active as a concert and recording artist, his chief area of interest is teaching musical fundamentals using popular and traditional music.

Learn basic guitar chords, reading simple melodies, and a system of harmonizing these melodies “by ear”. Course provides a base for students to teach themselves to play virtually any type of music. Bring your own guitar. Limit 10.

HARMONICA WORKSHOP

MIKE & BEV ROGERS
Mike has 30+ years as professional musician and recorded over 25+ albums and CD's. They have participated in International Paralympics in Atlanta, GA and International Very Special Arts Conference in Los Angeles, CA.

A fun-filled class for the whole family! Children should be eight years old and up. Everyone will learn a song, some techniques, and a little blues on the harmonica. Harmonica included.
