Nathan is CPR Manager with McGregor Memorial EMS in Durham, NH
CPR saves lives! In this American Heart Association certified class students will learn what to do in the event of a cardiac arrest. Students will come away feeling confident in their ability to perform the life saving skills of chest compressions and the use of an automated defibrillator (AED). Students will become certified in Adult, Child, and Infant CPR as well as AED. They will also learn how to recognize and care for heart attacks, stroke and choking victims. Come learn a skill that can change a persons life forever. Two year certification.

This course in not intended to create "experts" but rather to provide caregivers with a comfort level to provide life-saving and stabilizing interventions while awaiting the arrival of Emergency Medical Services. Through this American Heart Association certified class students will learn how to handle the following: breathing problems including asthma, choking, allergic reactions, seizures, diabetes, heart attack, stroke, bleeding wounds, handling fractures, head and neck injuries, bites and stings, temperature related problems, poisonings and more. All participants will receive a First Aid certification good for two years.
