Great Weather ~ Great Success
For the 2009 event, Board members, students, and Friends of the Center created teams of walkers and/or runners who collected pledges totalling almost $4,000 in direct support for the Center and adult literacy programming in Strafford County. In combination with the proceeds from the race, which are shared among the five benefitting nonprofits, the total raised for the Center will approach $6,000!
Individuals who walked or ran received one of the first 100 ever 100% cotton Burgundy T-Shirts emblazoned with the Center's new logo. There was a great collection of T-Shirts at the event!
